Sneek into a living room and mud room inspired by

Sneek into a living room and mud room inspired by the sense of calm that comes from wandering the streets of Greece. Soft blues, warm off-whites and layered taupes come together with tactile textures, patterns and natural materials to create a space that feels collected, serene and quietly sophisticated. Still to come: the custom bookcase + bar and those final layers of accessories that will bring the entire room together #PoeticModernism® #poetic-living #DesignForTheExhale #interiors @wallureny

Treasured my time with @thecindygram at the Interior Design Magazine offices✨Cindy congratulations on 25 remarkable years as Editor in Chief of Interior Design Magazine. Your vision has shaped and inspired our entire industry! Back in 2018 it was an honor that you chose my basket for DIFFA’s Picnic by Design. Creating it was a joy, and seeing it in your hands made the moment even more special! @interiordesignmag @diffanational

What a fun night! I won a @studiomcgee Edalyn faucet at Kohler Appreciation Night at @havenedgewaterrestaurant in Edgewater, NJ. 🎉

A big thank you to Jon from Kohler, Jen VanHoven, Paramus Ferguson showroom manager, and Monica Flynn, my fave Ferguson rep! It’s always a joy to spend an evening with the people who help bring our projects to life. Now the fun part: deciding which project this beauty goes into first or maybe my own kitchen 😀 @kohler @fergusonhomeofficial @mcgeeandco #EdgewaterNJ #i̇nteriorarchitecture #poeticmodernism® #edalyn #MicheleAlfanoDesign

“I like them to look, think and then look again.

“I like them to look, think and then look again.” I love this quote by Donald Judd. I recently saw his artwork at @diabeacon which someone would say it looks like a box but it holds a presence that demands engagement. His objects claims space around it. As you circle the boxes, your position changes what you feel. Time and space are not fixed. They’re made, and you’re the one making them.

Judd inspires how I design. I think about how people move and breathe through a space, from a ceiling design to staircase to a built in, so a home feels connected and lived in with real impact #PoeticModernism® #exhale #art #donaldjudd
