MEET MICHELE ALFANO

It started with architecture. Bringing other architects’ visions to life. Michele Alfano didn’t set out to launch her own design studio. She followed a feeling. The joy of transformation and sculpting spatial experiences that move you, care for you and improve your quality of life.

Through attending leading international trade shows, Michele collaborates with quality brands and skilled artisans from around the world, giving our clients access to the most exceptional products available. She stays ahead of design trends and infuses fresh ideas and advanced technologies into her work. This includes integrating smart automation for lighting, security, fixtures and appliances, bringing control and simplicity to everyday living.

Her projects have been recognized across the design industry, with features in leading publications such as Vanity Fair, Architectural Digest, Metropolitan Home and Kitchen Bath Design News and through invitations to serve as a judge for prestigious design competitions, reflecting our commitment to originality, quality and excellence.

As an NCIDQ certified, WELL AP certified, Associate AIA, and a professional member of ASID, NKBA, and AIA, Michele is committed to staying at the forefront of industry standards and best practices.

PHILANTHROPY

Michele feels strongly about the importance of giving back. During the pandemic, Michele began donating her consultation fee for first time client meetings as a part of DIFFA’s “Design with Care” initiative. This is a perfect way to donate her time and qualify potential clients while giving back to DIFFA!

Since 2012 to present, she has participated as a designer, steering committee member, and Brand Ambassador for DIFFA’s Picnic by Design and Dining by Design. This charity event redefines the concept of a traditional picnic where 20 designers come together to create innovative picnic basket experiences on an urban NYC rooftop.
